Advertising & Marketing

Advertising myspace related sites is like no other niche in our business. Therefore it requires a completely different approach.

I want to know what everyone thinks about this b/c I sure don't get it.

So this ad network displays CPM/CPC ads together in one placement without giving you the option to choose. As we all know there are certain ad spots on a website where CPC works best and others where CPM ads will work better. So how is this going to ensure best conversion and payout?

go to DP dude.... tons of ad reviews there..

each site works on its own.. test them out for a while. that's the only way to know. i've tested at least 40 ad companies to date.... and that number is still going.

well, the best of the best have become the worst of the worst.

unfortunately, valueclick is the best right now. there was a company that i used to work with, that gave me $1.00 CPM at 80% fill a year and a half ago.. then yahoo bought them out and now it went to ****.

i was also using adsdaq/contextweb. .50 cent cpms great fill, then they canned me due to **** myspace resource site traffic, and they no longer accept any media/resource sites.

so... after testing many many ad companies, i'm still at square one... adsense and valueclick are the best.

Same here with adsdaq. Canned my Myspace sites but they pay really well in other niches.

graphicNERDx is on a distinguished road
yes, it's pretty hard to get paid well if you have a myspace niche website but in other niches some tend to pay better
