Ok, this is byfar the weirdest thing that has happened to me yet on the internet. Recently my my myspace account was phished and i was notified on my myspace homepage. I changed my password on myspace to something new, just as usual.
A day or 2 later, I went to check my email. And I typed in my password as usual, and it didn't work. I made sure I was typing it right and when I finally decided to click the forgot password link, it told me it sent my password to my secondary email, which i never use anyway.
So my sister tells me that the same thing happened to her after she changed her myspace password, except she got asked her security question when she clicked the forgot password link on gmail. After answering, it showed her her current password, and then asked her for a new one. Her gmail password had somehow changed to her old myspace password and then then the last 2 numbers of her birthdate.
She told me to try that as my password, and suprisingly, it was my old myspace password and then the last 2 numbers of my birthdate. It was the weirdest thing ever. I wanted to email google about it but couldn't find the right place to email them.
Anyone know why something this strange would happen?
