Does anyone see any problems with this site

http://validator.services-seo.net/

I ran a check and it gave me all kinds of errors I have wrong with my site.

Ie:
Warning, too many keywords within the meta keywords tag!
- - Here are my keywords: layout myspace sports, nfl myspace layouts, football myspace layouts, wwe myspace layouts, free layout myspace sports

Warning, meta description is too short!
Warning, h3 heading not found!
Warning, h4 heading not found!
Warning, h5 heading not found!
Warning, h6 heading not found!
Warning, alt attribute (:)) is too short!

Do I need the above really?

Error, the page contains too many links poiniting to external domains
Error, the page contains too many links

And alot of images, mostly the spacer image saying it doesn't have an alt image.

Just not sure if I should take all of it to heart or not.

Hi Jen,

It has been said in the SEO community that search engines no longer place that much importance in the keyword metatags, due to past abuse by spammers stuffing the metatags with keywords. Just to be on the safe side, I would use a particular keyword or phrase no more than three times. In your example, myspace is used five times.

Meta descriptions are typically what's displayed in the search engine results after the title of the page is displayed. You'll want to write a meta description containing targeted keywords that will induce the user to click your link in the search results.

I do not see the need for h3, h4, h5 tags for SEO. Typically, it is recommended that you use h1 tags with related, relevant keywords. However, it is not a necessity for good rankings.

Google recommends no more than 100 links on a single webpage. I don't think you have that many on your webpages.

Alt tags for images are also recommended, but not a necessity for high rankings. Google will rely more on the text of your webpage than alt tags to figure out the relevance of your webpage.

Most SEOs say that off-page factors, such as incoming links and anchor text, is far more important that on-page factors, which this site is analyzing.

What geg2 said, to which I would chime in with: It is not a good idea to "pump up" meta keywords. 3 or 4 words or phrases is quite enough; the entire page is spidered for a reason, and they are called "key" words for a reason. There is no need to repeat the entire body text of the page within the meta keywords tag.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that any words or phrases that appear in any of your metatags should also appear in the body text of the page, and each page of your site should have completely different words or phrases than any other page on your site.

And to reiterate geg2 once again, because it does bear repeating as a lot of folks are "hung up" about their meta keywords: these are of far too little importance these days to be worth getting uptight about at all. Not using any meta keyword tags AT ALL is will not do you any harm. Many sites out there would most likely benefit from getting rid of them altogether.

The best approach is to just have a clear focus on the subject at hand in your body text, and seek out inbound links with relevant anchored text.

SEO validators are good as a general guideline but most are outdated as geg2 explained above. Metakeyword tags are not really important but don't hurt to have, Meta Description tags again not much weight but Google uses them in its search results so I like to have them. The only <H > tags that really matter are <h1> and <h2> all those others are not needed.
