My hosting company suspended a site the day after i uploaded 1 gig of gfx
they said i was using up to many resources. my account has 100 gigs of space left!

a2hosting blows i think they just want to sell me a dedicated host plan

It sounds like they may be overselling.

50webs.com is cool if you can deal with 4.5 CPU.

It sounds like they may be overselling.

Resources does not always imply disk space.

Resources include: MySQL Processes, CPU Usage, and HTTPD connections, etc.

If you have a rather large and popular (traffic wise) website on a shared host, expect to get your site suspended from resource usage.

You can have 10GB out of 2TB of bandwidth used and be suspended. Hell, you can have 50MB out of 2GB of disk space used and still get suspended.


It always helps to read the ToS, AUP and any other policy that may be in place, to have more information in regards to HOW your site can get suspended.
