Has anyone seen the new feature on myspace allowing you to have moods?

Its like facebook, where you update your status and you can choose a mood.
Its quite amusing actually. I check my myspace before I take a shower, I come out of the shower and WABAM new feature. oh the wonders of myspace.
So I set my mood to: Selena is thinking that myspace is a COPYCATTT for having this status and mood thing.
because this is clearly a complete rip of facebook's status idea.

ROFL Myspace is getting more and more lame each day. Just wait till Myeeos comes out, I'm sure we'll find that Myspace copies alot of the cool features. What losers :P

I'm I the only one who really thinks that Myspace is crappy? With all the money they have you would think they would get just a little better features.

I think its stupid. All the myspace users who have facebook think that myspace is ridiculous for copying facebook's feature, well at least all the facebook users on my friends list. You should see the bulletins people post saying how dumb it is.
One of the bulletins said something like "why the hell do we need status things? Don't people already post how they're feeling in bulletins anyway?" and when I think about it, I really do post bulletins about every feeling I have.

Mine erased, I'll probably never use it again. Plus I'm kinda bipolar and my mood isn't the same for more than 2 hours.

I dont see how its lame...?
I agree that MySpace is crap. And that they should have added these features (and dozens more to accompany them) months if not years ago figuring how much revenue they've earned.
But still, they're just trying to keep up since they're beginning to realize that they do have threats. This was sort of expected to happen eventually.
They have to keep their users entertained with this crap to keep them coming back for more ad impressions after all. ha, it's all business.

Then again... maybe it is lame. They dont have a mood for hungover, closest thing I could find was groggy...
=/ ****in myspace.

What a waste of their time. Yes, myspace, the reason people are using Facebook instead of you is only because you don't have a mood feature. If you just add that feature, there will be a mass exodus of facebook users. You've figured it out!

I kinda like the new features, my only complaint would be to have an option to add anything in as my mood and extended network.
They don't give many options for the ext network so I'll keep those ext network banners coming! :)

actually, you can choose a custom extended network. Mood you can't though.

Search by mood. Show me only happy people. Show me French speaking females who are excited within 5 miles...
Combine with google maps and have a mood map of the world. Have maps that show trend changes. Check it out after game wins and losses, elections, major events.
Offer generic data through api's so Government grants can be wasted on research projects out to prove the obvious.
