Hi there everyone, i am new and have signed up especially to see if anyone can understand what i am trying to do and offer some help.

I'm about to launch my new business, but because i didn't want everyone seeing it just yet, i created under facebook account under my name then created the Business Page through that account.
One of the main reasons i have done this is because i don't want clients and customers being able to see my personal facebook pages, profile pics and wall etc, so i'm trying to keep these two worlds separate.
However, now i can't select all my 'friends' to suggest to them to 'like' my business, because technically, this new account i have created has no friends yet. I also don't want to confuse everyone but making them think that they have to add a 'second' verson of 'me' on FB to their friends list.

So i'm thinking now.......did i have to create this 'second' account version of me in order to keep the business page hidden temporarily while i was working on it?? or should i have just tried creating the business page through my regular personal account. i just don't want to have to 'censor' all my personal stuff so that customers can't see.....
Am i interpreting this all wrong? Is there a way of solving what i am trying to achieve. If you would like a bit more of an explanation, please let me know and i will do my best.

Thanks in advance! :)

Business accounts on FB are non-functional at best.

They do not have the same functionality as personal accounts
They have limited access to information on the site.
They can't view the profiles of users on the site or other content on the site.
Most importantly, they are not included in search and cannot send or receive friend requests.

Having a business account and a personal account is also against Facebook's rules.

For 99.9% of all pages, it is best to set them up on your personal account. The good thing is when you are on a page you administer, you post as that page's admin, not your personal account.

Correct, your post will show as coming from the page name and the page's profile photo.
