I can't stand that word, it really does piss me off.

But yea I've heard that song, everyone at school has it on their ipod, it's lame.

Well- i like it.

And the whole "emo" thing is rather silly.

It really isn't much anymore... i don't see why it matters the way people dress or whatever. Everyone just needs to have a "classification" or something.

I hate things like that. Most of my friends are "emo" and they are nothing like that. I hate the way everyone is so stereotypical. There are a bunch of girls that get the same bus as me and everytime I get on they start saying "omg pass me a razor, I'm going to slit my wrists, because I'm so emo!" They don't know me, they just say that because I have black hair, facial piercings and I wear black clothes. I don't say to them "omg pass me some HUGE gold earrings and a burberry handbag, because I'm such a chav!" because I respect people and the fact that everyone is different.

My brother's a chav and he can't stand Burberry, lol. :P It's bloody fugly. >.<

If I saw you walking down the street, I'd probably think "Goth" before "emo". I don't get the whole emo thing or how anyone could tell the difference between an emo and a goth. =\

I saw that song thing ages ago on another site. I thought it was funny (it's made just to take the mick out of the stereotype) and so did my brother but my sister thought it was just downright rude.

Haha that songs great, I love it! So many emos I see / know are the same way with the oldschool nintendo and they usually ARE mostly bisexual and depressed ._. Like those old GAP commercials.

Cheer up, emo kid!

LOL, Let's try not to be too stereotypical and pre-judgemental of people because of their minor differences too fast guys. :P
I disagree with CHAVS as in "Council House And Violence" because a TRUE CHAV physically and verbally assualts people for doing, practically nothing wrong/to provoke the attack.
I disagree with EMO as in "Emotional" as in self-harm, as I believe they need proffessional help, self harming is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with as there's a serious reason behind them doing it.
Do you see where I am going with this?
Feel free to judge people if they do live up to the stereotype fully as in they are that really bad thing in Chav's case.
But, don't judge people on CLOTHES alone, I'm happy for people to wear what they want as long as it does not make me feel uncomftorbale, make me unable to see their face, or is in any way a "risk" to me etc...
Meaning, I disagree with the muslim's veil and other religious clothes worn to cover the face etc..And I disagree with "CHAVs" wearing hoodies to cover their faces, making it hard for the old lady they just abused to identify them to the Police :P

This is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard. Unfortunately, some people believe everything on it, and use it to stereotype when really they're just being ignorant. I play in an "emo" band, and none of this fits us, I love all type of music though. I'm open minded though and I can take a joke.

Haha I heard that song months ago and loved it so much. I still find it to be one off the most creative things ever created. And me knowing all about stereotypes and seeing them all over the school, people who are like "wtf i'm not emo" but they are the way they act, talk, dress, everything about them has "emo" written all over their faces, the song fits their descriptions exaclty. It more fits the "scene" kids around here. I swear they are the most annoying things ever. People who call themselves "scene" should be slapped. Its basically kids who dress emo, and want you to say "omg your emo" and then they want to correct you and say "omg im not, im a scene kid" but no, they are just wannabe emo. Hard to explain really.

It was the most loved song for awhile over here, then it sort of died down, now the only time people mention emo is when you look sad and people will occasionally say "you look emo today"

He says the S'es in a gay way to make fun of them, because he's calling them gay suicidal depressants through the entire song >.>

Stereotypes exist because soo many people fit them most of the time, haha.
