I just started a new account, I had been using my mom's for a while. I also made my mom's, and it never said this.

This bank account is disabled for entry into the PayPal website. Please add a different bank account instead.

If you would still like to use this bank account, you may fax us a copy of the bank statement with the two amounts PayPal deposited in your bank account shown and a copy of your driver's license or other photo I.D. You must use this form for your fax cover sheet and send the fax to (402) 537-5780.

Why does it say this? =S This sucks because I don't have a fax machine and I really need to stop using my mom's paypal account.

Try removing the bank account, and re adding.

It's probably a requirement on Paypal to help deal with money laundering. Why not find out if they accept a snail-mail copy of the data? Phone them and ask. :)

If there is any information or bank accounts that are similar between your account and your moms you have to jump through additional hoops for security reasons. I got that once when I tried to add the same CC to two different PayPal accounts even though it was a joint CC PayPal had to verify it in writing that both me and my fiancee had authorization to use the card.

I had an account that went haywire and had to make another and when I did, it told me I couldn't use the same bank account twice, so I had to go in the lod account and delete the bank account and then add it from the new one.
