View Full Version : Where should we...

Where should we post the non-payers of the group buys? Im thinking that if they don't pay after so many "strikes", they should get banned from group buys all together.

My reasoning behind this is, I remember Kenzie saying she wasn't getting paid by some of the members of her group buy, and then Selena saying a few members hadn't paid here... and now I have a couple who havn't paid me.

The sad thing is, one of the people who havn't paid me - i've sent 3 PM's and he/she is ignoring my PMs and joining other group buys (YES! After not paying me, and ignoring my PMs) and I don't want the owner of the group buy to get burned as well, if he decides not to pay them either.

I know iTrader is an option, but some people just don't leave negative iTrader due to afraid of getting a retaliation, or maybe thinking that just not paying for a group buy isn't a big deal.

Not paying for a group buy isn't a huge deal, but it does become very annoying when the same user joins like 15 group buys, and pays for none of them, you know?

Any other thoughts on this?

I think its sick and you guys should get paid BEFORE you send the packages from now on.

Be safe :\ And remember, they don't own the rights unless they PAY for them.

Yeah, i'm going to start asking for payment first, considering I have a good enough reputation now.

But there are users who are coming on here with like 0-5 posts & 0 iTrader (sad, seriously) just making group buys. I don't think it's fair for them to ask for payment first, considering we don't know what kind of rep they really have. For users like that, there should be a place where we can post who hasn't paid in the past, so that their first transaction, isn't going to be a complete burn. You know?

I think if they don't pay multiple times they should just be banned. Especially if the items were sent and then no payment. But if they agree to jump in on a group buy then never respond then I think that should be up to each seller to deny them from then on when they feel like it.

I think you should ask for half payment first..send half of whatever, and then the other half of payment..if that makes any sense.

I definently agree, that they should get banned. However, I see this being HIGHLY unlikely :-/.

Yes, but I don't think your understanding what i'm saying.

Someone with 0-10 posts, and/or 0 iTrader - they should NOT ask for the money first. Why? Because they could be coming on here to scam everyone. Getting money, claiming to make graphics, when in reality, they could very well possibly not even know how to OPEN ps and/or psp. Get what i'm saying?

However, for those of the "newbies" that ARE good people, they shouldn't have to worry about getting burned on their first transaction. That's just unfair! :-/ So, I think there should be a place where everyone can post warnings about who didn't pay for something.

I'm not sure why exactly why I was Instant Messaged for this, but I'll comment simply because I was. Do take note that have a few in me though....

I don't want to be contacted with this type of thread unless Scylint, PGZ, mcfox, or any other mod or trusted member has already handled the situation. It detracts from the things I do to further the development of the site and undermines the authority of those I trust.

Precious, I ask that you settle your differences via PM or address an admin specifically as I am tiring of consistently seeing complaints toward you in a public forum.

Thank god for spell check.
