Ok i've been showing my mom how to make myspace layouts so she can help me with my 500 myspace layouts group that i'm working on so what i need to know is what you think of her work or would you buy it :)

OMG, Your mom is cool! haha....
My mum watches me making glitter words like "WTF" haha....I feel so uncomftorbale and I tried 2 teach her but she hates PSP so I just gave up LOL!
That's really good for a begginner...The first layout she made and her contact tables look average-above average from people who've been at it for a year or 2 =/ haha go your mom :P

I'd say throw in some other colors and they'd be perfect.

I just saw the other ones. I think those are better and what I'd describe as 'perfect.'

I love em both....The background on the "glam" one is too plain though, maybe teach her patterns, textures and border brushes, that would complete a piece like that, without going TOO overboard.

They look great and I would buy if the price is cheap enough heheh. But great quality especially if just getting started in designing.

Only problem that I could imagine would be image size...those look like they could be pretty bandwidth heavy if not optimized at all ;).

That is great for a beginner. Haha, my mum asks me to teach her glitters etc, so she can earn money online, instead of having to go out and work. Hehe..
Like someone else suggested, I'd agree with teaching her to experiment with patterns and textures to give it an extra touch. Also perhaps opacity etc.

I'm suprised she can do so good because when it really comes down to it the amount of time you've spent with PS for me is what counts. You really can't make up for the knowledge you gain with even something as simple as effect combinations by just messing around in PS for atleast a year.
