Forum Wide Contest!

In order to foster the idea of "forum members working together", Jessidel and I have come up with the following contest:


Two designers will be paired together as a team, and they must create 2 (two) graphics together that fit in the given theme.

Since we want you to work together, and possibly get to know someone that you previously haven't spoken to, all interested designers will sign up in this thread, and I will pair you with another member. Our hope is to pair one of the younger designers with a more seasoned designer so that we get a mixture of each person's style.

Once all submissions have been made, this is where the non-designers/site owners come in. Each team's offerings will be put up for the non-designer's to vote on. The team that gets the most votes will win a prize.

For taking the time to vote, each person who votes will receive ALL the grahpics for their site. All designers who participate in the contest will also receive all the images to use on their site.


The rules for the contest are easy:

1. You and your partner will create 2 graphics. Each graphic must be a mixture of both team members work.
2. Submit your entries to me via PM, do NOT post them in the thread.
3. Your graphics must follow the given theme (which will be announced when the contest begins)
4. If you register as a designer, you are not allowed to vote.
5. Once paired with another designer, you will not be allowed to change "partners". You will have to work with whoever you are assigned to.



What do you win?
Well, bragging rights of course! Each member of the winning team will also receive $5.00 paid to their PayPal account.

Rules:

1. All teams will submit 2 graphics. These graphics must be submitted to me by PM, not posted in the thread.

2. Each graphic MUST be a combined work of both team members.

3. All entries must be submitted by 7:00 PM Central time on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.

4. All entries must follow the theme: Good Morning



It is up to each team what type of graphics they make, as long as it follows the Good Morning theme. You can make them animated, non animated, glitters, flashers, whatever.


Once all teams have submitted their entries, or the deadline passes, the graphics will be posted for the non-designers to vote on. The team with the most votes will win the prize.

Once the contest is over, all teams and voters will be given a link to download the zip file of ALL the graphics.

If there is ANY hint of cheating going on, that team will be disqualified, and the graphics they have submitted will remain in the pack to be given away.
