Hey,

I got into the Myspace Resource website by buying MSRS. So have only made layouts for MSRS and now MSLS.

In the next week or two I plan to release a pack of layouts, both MSRS and MSLS ready.

But I also need to make them available as standard, am I right in assuming the structure for standard sites would be:

- Layout Folder
-- css.php
-- bg.jpg
-- contact.jpg
-- thumb.jpg

I havent dealt with any other websites so dont actually no I am just guessing.

Any help would be great on this simple quesiton :)

If i'm correct, I don't think there is a specific set up for them. All you have to do is make sure that in the CSS you live the background, contact and EN banner codes intact. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, though. :)

That is correct precious, just leave the code for the images in the css..thats the only difference.

The way I have learned to do it - to make things easier - it just leave the code in there the whole time. For both MSRS and non-MSRS. That way you have a code that works for both. It doesn't make a difference if the codes in there or not, because it will call on the MSRS background first. Then if your site goes down or something, your users wont have a blank profile - the images will still be there from you hosting from the outside source. I HOPE that makes sense, lol - i'm too tired to explain things. lol

So your saying; non msrs and msrs coded layouts can be used the same? As long as both codes are together? [did that make sense? haha]

^ Theoretically yeah, just depends how you decide to set up your layouts...

I set up mine as background.jpg, table.jpg, header.jpg and code.txt but that's just because I started off doing that ages ago and havent been bothered to change my habits :)

As previous posts say, there is no set structure for non-MSRS/(msls) layouts. If you're doing a custom order then check with your client but otherwise anything is usually fine.
