Hey Joey, I see your using the same script I have on one of my sites.
http://www.yourspacehound.com
I'm no design expert as you can see lol but I did manage to edit the default template a bit.
But maybe we shouldn't be discussing this particular script in this forum.
Have you checked out the MCSMS forum lately it was down last time I looked the owner was having hosting issues and transfering his site.

It really doesnt matter what you change in that script the ctr will always suck....Been there Done that....
The ad placement just bites.

i don't like how the top banner doesn't match the rest of the site.. maybe you should use gradients for your headers and get rid of the pink.

But you can always change the ad placement, size, and colors you dont have to leave the ads where they have them.....

i've pmed you with some changes i think could benefit you.
And PGZ i disagree, i think by changing the placement and setup of the site the ctr could go up by a lot

I had on script as well where the ad placement really sucked. I was getting like a 2% CTR with it. After about a day of template modding and remodding I was able to get the scripts CTR up to 5% and its held there for the last 3 months. Sent you a PM as well
