Signups for Social Network Site?

I am a marketing rep for http://www.azoola.com a new Social Network site and looking for the best way to advertise such a site for quick signups.

Is there a "quick" way?!
Growth takes time....
Ermm, advertise:
www.google.com/adwords
tell friends....
Run a competition?
...Maybe get the CEO to make friends with Paris Hilton?
LOL!
Once the word spreads you will get the sign ups..Problem with social networks is the hard part isn't getting people to register, it's getting them to return!
Constant new features, niche ideas, promotion, promotion, promotion!
The work is a big uphill struggle from here....

you might want to put that 1, 2, 3, 4 list of things to do up top where you have the first set of yahoo ads...if your goal is signups the ads should be moved lower for now.
