I've tried it, and I prefer adversal. I get much better payouts. Even though they're different advertising, I make more with adversal, and adbrite takes space that could be monetized better.

adbrite service is bad, site is not very user friendly imo, potential to be good though.

adbrite works amazingly well with my proxy site.... averaging about $35/day with it....but then again it is one of the highest trafficked proxies on the net.
haven't tried it on my myspace site yet.

I guess it depends on what you want from your companies. Some people tend to like them others dont.

about 6000 uniques/day. 95% US traffic. #1 in google for Myspace Proxy and was #5 for "proxy" but it seems to have disappeared.

I've used Adbrite on one of my sites for a while, and they are good about paying on time and all that, but.....
Some ads cause a full-page browser takeover with a generic-looking full page "(thisdomainname.com) is brought to you today by (advertisername.com)". I don't mind throwing a popup once in a while, but the Adbrite thing is waaaaaay too intrusive. I work and pay for my traffic, I don't want my customer to go to the advertisers site unless they decide to do so of their own free will.

That is because you have signed up for interstitial ads. It is easy to stop that.
I've used adbrite for some of my below the fold ads. These ads had a poor CTR in google. They do about as well in AdBrite. I've also sold weekly links in Adbrite for the past month which helps a little.

So far they have renewed for 3 weeks straight on two different sites. I also make a buck or so on network ads each day.

Mediocre, I like their intersitial ads, but sometimes they're not targeted/associated well.

what are the effects of interstitials on page views? have you noticed a decline or lower page views after you put them in your code? I personally find them annoying, but i can't speak on the behalf of myspace users.

I haven't had much luck with their text ads on my MSRS, but then again I never gave them good placement in favor of YPN and Adsense. Trying their interstitials today to see how that goes. That is, if I can get the damn things to work. :hammer:

For the people that use them with adsense/ypn on the same page, has it hurt your adsense conversions at all?

chris....Have you tried textlinkads for selling links? I'm worndering which way is better/easier to go. I think adbrite may be nice since you can set the price you want but textlinkads may have higher profile advertisers?

textlinkads takes a 50% cut... that totally turns me off. why not just sell directly?

I used adbrite as publisher and advertiser and think you can adbrite as advertiser with a small budget if you don't care about the quality of websites where your ads are published. of course there are also good website but most of the time they need a bigger budget. I use them to promote my web-proxies and for this kind of sites it's OK. if you plan to use them as publisher you can do that if adsense or YPN is not an option.
