It's happened to all of us, you both come to an agreement on a link exchange, everything seems fine, and a week later they take down your link. What you then have to do is contact them about it or take their link down. However, there is no punishment if they take your link down without telling you.
What many people do is take all link exchanges down a week later, hoping the other person's link stays up. If they are contacted about it, they cheerfully put it up saying it was a mistake. They then do that to 50 other people, possibly getting 20 free link exchanges.
We should have feedback for link exchanges that you give positive once link exchange is done, but if they untruthfully take your link down, you can change the positive to negative. I just hate having to contact so many people about link exchanges after it has already been done.
