You mean remove the webmasters link backs?
I doubt anyone on here will teach you how to do that somehow lol...

Well why would you want to remove it, it's obviously there because you are using something of theirs.

After the </style> tags on your profile in either the "About Me" or "I'd Like To Meet" section you'll find tags like this
<a href... bla bla bla>bla bla bla </a>
Delete the <a> tags

If all users start doing this, we myspace webmasters will have to shut down shop

Not at all..... It's called organic traffic, link exchanges, etc. Besides, not all users are going to do this, they're like 14 years old and don't know crap about HTML.

If you use several different profile alterations from different sites it can get pretty ugly on your profile with three, four or five tags in the corner competing for attention. Looks fugly.

I agree to what mcfox says. 3-4 ads cover each other/

okay like if u see like on a layout it will either say at the top or the bottom or both something like this....<a href="http://static-layouts.com/myspace">Get a great new layouts today! *click here*</a> but the layout LAYOUT will say....<style type="text/css"> or something like that.... but sometimes at the top it will say somethin like....layoutby {www.static-layouts.com} and it ussualy wont do anything but if it does copy it to make sure that its not somethin IMPORTANT and then delete it. and the layout will end like this...</style> anything after that will most likely not be needed. : / but just remember to COPY IT unless it is imortant icons or comments boxs or buttons there a lil bit harder but... there'll either be there at the top or bottom... and will look like the ones on layouts but the hard part is thats how the icons and comment things start to but just look for like the layouts sites now or something... well i hopr that helps good luck!:D

if you don't like the corner tags learn to make your layouts. They're there because you're using something someone else made and don't you think they deserve a little credit for that?

I never liked corner tags either.. just search the code for the url that you got the layout from and delete it. (make sure its in <a href="..."></a> tags or you could delete images. Anyways, I don't think you should do it either.. leave it there as a sign of respect to the site you got it from :)

arent the layouts tagged too? on bg.. contact.. network..
that isnt enough without a big ugly corner tag? hehe
that is.. if you have a big ugly cornertag.. from the users point of view..
when the cornertag becomes more important than the layout i think users see that. i would rather a user remove my cornertag and continue to use my layout with my domain on every graphic.. than to say.. go make their own layouts.
webmaster/designer side i see too.. dont get me wrong.. some sites it may work with. like if you have a glitter site and a glittery cornertag. but if you offer a lot of different type content if someone picks a sports layout and you still have a glitter cornertag.. or vise versa.. chances are if you dont have a very simple cornertag that matches everything.. they wont like it. whether they remove it is just a matter of experience.
i have also noticed the grouping of cornertags from multiple sites..
i went to about 20 profiles that also had satanspace cornertag...
at first i was like wtf :(
after a bit of this..
i made a new cornertag..
this hand comes out with a big bloody knife and stabs the satanspace tag now.. lol kinda funny looks like one graphic.. both are transparent so the knife shows thru like a stab
so i have probably started a cornertag war lol
but i understand if someone picks a layout from the "elegant" catagory and doesnt want the big bloody knife stab lol by all means remove it
i think i may go add a "remove the big bloody stab from my profile" in the code tweaks section.
or maybe have a contest of screenshots of the best stabs of other cornertags lol

I can understand why he may want to do this.. some sites make it where you can view the pictures or click home because the link size is ten times bigger than the actual credit image.
I don't think anyone should remove credit, but you cant stop everyone..
