So i guess my ip is banned?!

My account was hacked into and it was posting bulletins about bs like every 3 minutes. I didn't think it was such a big deal til I couldnt reach myspace from my home computer any more.So i changed my password and Now I just use a proxy site when I have to go on it.

Does anyone know about anything i can do to fix this?

Or

A supergood proxy site with out pop ups and stuff like that?

anything!?!?

You would have to contact Myspace support. If in fact they look into it and see that your account was being accessed from another IP address and was hacked then they should unblock your IP address and block the other one instead. Guess you will just have to get on your knees and beg and plead your case to them and see what happens.

Call your ISP, and tell them you need a new IP.

Well if you dont take 5 minutes to try then nothing will definatly happen and if you wont take 5 minutes of your time to try then its obviously not really that important to you.

And yea you can contact your ISP and request a new IP address as well they shouldnt have any problem giving you a new one.

Just log into Myspace from a friends house. And if making a phone call to your ISP is to much hassle then why did you post this in the first place......not looking like you really want to much help to me

I have the perfect answer. But typing it would be too much trouble.

what kind of connection do you have? cable? if so you can just get a new ip by shutting off your computer, unplugging your cable modem for about 10 seconds then plugging it back in. Unless your provider only gives out static ips.. which would be weird if you are just regular cable.

You can also trying logging into myspace via a proxy....though that might get annoying if you had to do that every single time. But if nothing else works, that may be the easiest solution.

Call ISP - tell them you think your computer/firewall is being hacked - they will have no problem changing your ip address.

If your ISP won't change your IP, unplug your router and plug your PC directly into your cable or DSL modem. Your ISP assignes IP's based off the MAC address. Your router might also support MAC spoofing as well, so you can look into that.

Depending on your setup, you just need to change the piece of hardware plugged in to your modem. 24 to 48 hours should be enough before switching it back as the timeout to reassign your IP to another MAC is generally lower less than 48 hours.

Just do a few searches, there are plenty of examples of this type of thing happening all over the web.

Interesting that they would block your IP just for that, When they have IP's that log into thousands of accounts each day posting bulletins, and they don't get blocked.
