Hey all,

I have some good news for you. A new publisher program that pays better than Adsense! Although it is not contextual.

The ads you display on your website are much like Google however.
I have been with them for 2 weeks now and the result is very good. I average 10-13 cents a click. Compared to Google Adsense (0.03) this is very high.

You set your own click rate and keep 100% of it!
Then your site will be placed in their site-scheme and advertisers can browse through that list and see if they want to order ads from your site. (Much like Adbrite)
Another good thing: you are allowed to remove the "Advertise Here" text so you can blend the ads in even more...
You can even use images next to ads, like i do...

I already got rid of most of my Adsense ads because Advertistic just pays better.
Just wanted to share this with you because we all know G doesn't pay that good for Myspace sites.

To sign up click Here (http://www.clixGalore.com/PSale.aspx?BID=61248&AfID=135178&AdID=7465&LP=www.advertistic.com)

Yes, that is a refferal link. If you are really bothered about signing up using an affiliate-id just go to their homepage.

(BTW: i am not an employee of Advertistic, just pointing you in a good direction. You can find examples of how it looks on my website (http://myspace.megarooms.com))

Interesting, they look good in the site. Too bad they're untargeted. :(

Yes you are allowed to run them with Google Adsense because the Advertistic ads are not contextual.

Not true....

Google's new policy says you can NOW run ads that are contextual but they CANNOT be ads that mimick adsense's look.

So yeah, go ahead and get your account banned....

I emailed Google directly about this and they replied back stating that as long as the competing ads are clearly not associated with the adsense ads on the same page you can run any advertising whether contextual or not. They also told me that if the ad formats are similar to adsense to use completely different color scemes so that your visitors can tell that they are not related to adsense or Google.

Sooooo it looks like you can run them and any other ads you like on your site together just MAKE SURE that you can clearly see a difference between the two.

I know. That is why i said G is ok with this. I did my homework :)

CTR is difficult to say. They count impressions per ad. So if you have a block of 4 ads they count 4 impressions. So i really don't know.

What i do know is that my average click gets me 10-13 cents. And (for me) that is better than Adsense.
