For me, it's only annoying because when it's on, all of the recent discussions are from MSP and you can't see what's really going on in the community.

With that said, I have learned a couple things here and there from the posts, so I'm not too put off by it.

None of the MSP threads actually show up in "Recent Discussion" so MSP is not knocking out the current/new/relevant threads any longer.

MSP threads are now in 'design resources'.

Very annoying.. if I wanted to view those posts I'd visit the actual sites they were posted on instead of MSP.

They're all over the "new posts" page which is the page I'm always on, even if it's not in the recent discussion list anymore.. I think it just annoys more people than it helps.
