what does it mean to colorize a graphic?

To change the color of the graphic using an automatic feature
in Paint Shop Pro
Select the graphic you want and go to:
Adjust >
Hue and Saturation
COLORIZE
And then move up and down the settings on Hue and Saturation...That in turn automatically changes the general color of the selected part of the graphic
Easy :)

oh ok I thought thats what it meant. I use photoshop and it has a color overlay option that does the same thing

Hey pookie I recemond using hue and saturation if you not looking for a specific color.
Color overlay will go over any pattern overlay and other features in the image or text so I recommend you change the base color instead of overlay.
