most of the ppl here with high traffic sites have long waiting lists for links. I've seen a couple of big boys 200K+ sites quoting $450/day text links (search for myspace layouts and look for ad links). Thats link would have to be made of gold and encrusted with diamonds for me though ;)

Yeah it was per day. I know that is crazy high and I'm not sure they get many takers. Based on their .05 CPC, that $450 link would buy ~9000 visitors.

^^ We are talking about the cost of buying a text link, not how much they bank. Yeah 200K+ UV would be over $600 a day just in popunders.
