trust me I'm much smarter than this question will sound ;).

With a 10%+ CTR you would expect CPM to be much higher. Is it though? When I bought into the myspace stuff, CPM was around $2. Now in a few short months that seems to have dropped significantly for me and others I have talked to. Even one of the big sites (200K a day) confirmed their CPM is a fraction of what it used to be. So, bascially I'm wondering if Google throttles the CPM on sites with higher clickthrough rates.

If you have a site with a 10%+ Google CTR, are you making $6 CPM? More? Less?

Another thought, the more relevant the links the higher the CTR right? Well unfortunately the more relevant a myspace ad the more likely the ad cost a nickel and you will get 2 cents. So with that, even though a CTR is high you may still make a lower CPM than a site that gets a little less myspacy ads but that pay higher. Greg kind of alluded to this with the new version of MSLS.

Any thoughts?
