Does ACORN have an office in Indianapolis? You know they do.
According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).
So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!
Across the nation voter registration irregularities are coming to light. Many of these irregularities involving the former employer, ACORN, of one of our Presidential candidates, Barack Obama. Now it comes to light that Obama’s campaign has paid ACORN over $800,000 for “get out the vote” efforts so far this campaign season.
At some point, someone is going to have to look into this stuff.

that info is based off census info almost 2 years old and outdated.
The 2007 census baseline numbers Ogden’s relying on could understate the current population. The voter rolls likely include large numbers of people who have died or moved but will in fact not vote.
ACORN is an independent group that registers both Dems and Republicans and McCain sponsored similar "get out and vote" drives.
The death moans of the Republican party keep growing louder by the day. I can't wait to see McCain's famous temper finally go off on national TV, it will be a good laugh watching a 70 years old throw another temper tantrum in front of the public media

Defending Obama is one thing, but defending Acorn?
For one our tax dollars have went into Acorn!
Acorn employees convicted felons some of which who've been charged with identity theft.
Of the 1,805 names submitted by Acorn, only nine have been confirmed as valid, and another 34 are still being investigated. The rest--over 97%--were fake.

If somebody has to knock on your front door and pressure you into registering to vote, IMHO you probably shouldn't be voting in the first place.
This would be like if John McCain funded a organization that went to retirement centers, bingo games and Veteran Affair clinics getting people to register to vote.
In Ohio, large numbers of homeless people received free van and bus rides to register. Shelby Holliday, a reporter for Palestra.net, filmed ACORN shuttling prospects to the polls. She told me she spoke with one homeless woman who told her ACORN “told her who to vote for if she wanted a ‘better life,’ and told her not to worry about jury duty (one of the reasons this homeless woman didn’t want to register) because the government probably wouldn’t be able to track her down. She was registering with a temporary address.”
Holliday interviewed another homeless man targeted by the registration drive who exulted that he was voting for Obama because “I want him to do his thang. You know, do his thug thizzle.”

Defending Obama is one thing, but defending Acorn? I wasn't defending ACORN just pointing out that it's not a Dem group or an Obama group, they're independents
If somebody has to knock on your front door and pressure you into registering to vote, IMHO you probably shouldn't be voting in the first place. Well I have not been contacted by a single Obama rep via door knocking or phone, I am how ever getting spammed called to death by the McCain campaign :death:
This would be like if John McCain funded a organization that went to retirement centers, bingo games and Veteran Affair clinics getting people to register to vote. News flash McCain sponsors similar organizations, pretty much every presidential candidate in recent history has. It's a common campaign tactic to get people to register for their political party

Its all over the news. ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX/CSPAN/MSNBC you name it they are broadcasting it.
They were paid $800,000 by Obama and even endorsed him for Prez. The freaking Dallas Cowboy Football team was reg in Nevada as Democrats by Acorn..
Come on how can you even defend this crap and how far will you go to continue to defend him when its obvious something is up here.

Obama didn't "pay" them he made donations totaling $800k towards the "Get Out and Vote" program. What they did with the money or who and how they registered voters has nothing to do with Obama. And McCain contributes to similar groups in the same way, who cares none of those fake voters will show up on election day anyways to vote so it won't make any difference except for inflating preliminary polls which "don't mean anything anyways" if I may quote you Rufas.
Truth is this is no different then the scam Bush pulled in Florida when he and his brother Jeb tried to illegally block all those valid votes. If McCain don't change his negative smear campaign soon his campaign for Prez will be DOA once election day comes as the voters will grow tired of his whining and not answering the important questions they actually want to know.
Keep crying Republicans maybe it will wash all this sh!t away you've gotten the US into the last 8 years.

Gore himself pulled out of the recount cause in the state of Florida you cant just pick and choose what counties you want recounted. A recount would of been for the entire state and not just Dem strong holds so Gore himself stopped the recount.
Also those votes in Fla have been recounted over and over and over by independent companies after the election by both Dems and Rep and the outcome has always been the same over and over again. Bush Won.
And as far as the fake reg voters I guess you dont know how things work here and have been watching the news to much and not actually researching it. Those fake voters can vote absentee and once its actually counted in the system they cant be tracked back. Dead people voting from Valid addesses and people voting in states they dont even live in using absentee ballots sent to addresses of people within that state. The person that lives at said address fills out the absentee ballot and away it goes. Off to be counted as an actual vote.
Hope this clears it up for you.
