I have recently opened up a Myspace Resource Site that takes a different approach to the Myspace game.
My site has been operating for 6 days and is received 809 uniques yesterday. The site has been doing well due to its solid CTR (Just over 10%). All traffic comes from one link on one of my other sites (Tagmy.com), myspace profiles, and one bulletin a day from one of my myspace profiles (which has 70,000 + friends).
The concept behind the site is to obtain a strong following of users and friends. Just yesterday the Myspace Account for this site received 80 friend requests. I do not ask anyone to be my friend on myspace, any and all friends are accepted requests. I am trying to build a trust and following from my visitors.
The site is a blog, not a typical resource site. I make anywhere from 1-5 posts a day, and will pick my most useful/ "cool" post to bulletin out to my friends on a few accounts towards the end of the day when all my users are online.
