Eh i'm pretty sure there was a thread on this somewhere but I can't seem to find it :(

Just wondering if you guys cared to either share the CTR you have on some of your myspace sites OR if you don't want to do that I'd just like your opinion on what you think a decent, average CTR would be for it.

I'm at roughly 4% for this month and roughly 5% for the day. I think its pretty decent for a new site, but I hope to find out if I'm correct in thinking so by getting some replies to the thread.

around 5% is good to average for a myspace resource site.

10-12%?

Do you have many links on each page? I find 5% to be the average and never higher than 7%.

You must not have a MSRS script then..........

I have MSRS and mine has been a paltry 1% (ish) what's up with that? I'm only using the top ad and without images.

No two sites are the same. I have a few sites using the same script. While one gets ctrs of 5%, another one gets about 1%

I don't I use mscms but I also won't put images next to my ads which I'm sure would raise my ctr.

wow.. mine is like only 2% with images but just took them off and waiting a few days for result. Its not going to be pretty. :(

I'm about to do that ..... not looking forward to it either :s .

My best CTR for a MSRS site is between 14/16% and is very constant. My other MSRS sites average around 6/7% and the generic MySpace resouce scripts average 1/4%.

Some of those sites are virtually identical so it's really hard to fathom out why the CTR varies between the sites so much.

I have that script also and the ctr is TERRIBLE. Bad placement of ads in that script.

i think 5% is good, above that is even better as long as it stick to the rules.

Well if everyone using MSRS is getting between 1-12% CTR, it must be the demographics of the traffic making the difference. So those with high CTR's would you mind sharing that info?

One thing that I just realized.....kinda funny if you think about it. My site is still pretty new (2 weeks old) and my CTR is pretty low (1-2%) I just realized that since I am still building my site and adding loads of content to it everyday, fixing code, SEOing it, etc I probably account for most of the page views. Lol. So hopefully after I get it up and running full fledged I wont have to spend time on my site itself.... just time on promoting it. Hopefully then my CTR will go up.

Just felt like pointing that out if there are any others in the same boat.
