Preview function is supposedly not functioning please PM me if you can't preview either. It works for me but I'll do testing and look into alternate methods if needed.

I don;t quite understand the neon conditions. You mean you are later going to release more of this but using different fonts? Or what do you mean with "one of only 6 exclusive versions"?

The neon font generator is made using a "Neon Font" from Fenotype a font designer. The font is freeware meaning you can use it for personal use but not commercial use. I emailed Fenotype and have acquired permision to sell a limited amount of it. Since it is a neon sign generator it needs the "Neon Font" to make sense. So I'm only selling 6 versions. atm there are only 4 left. Then that's the end of it and I won't sell any more of that generator.

There has to be more than one neon font out there and I am sure there are probably some free to use as you wish. But then again I don't know much about fonts and talking out of my *** lol.

Yea I looked and thought about designing my own. But it also helps with some people buying it, some people might not buy if it weren't exclusive. I'm already working on my next generator. So don't worry there will be more exclusive goodies for people.

how much was the neon sign anyway? I wouldn't be interested in it if it was expensive so don't spend a lot on a font unless you can line up buyers ;).

Fenotype lists neon as a freeware font and their site clearly states that it can be used in commerical work. Did they tell you something different?

Freeware fonts can be used in commercial work as well: still, a donation of 20
€ or sending one piece of the product where the font has been used is
appreciated. Ask for permission to redistribute freeware fonts.


It does say ask for permission to redistribute it, but using it in flash is not redistributing the font.

Just interested in what they told you.

looks like chris knows his google :) well I emailed Fenotype and he said he'd be fine as long as he got the links to the product. I told him a limited amount so I don't want to disrespect him by overdoing it but I'm working on it. Things are working out so I should be selling some more later. Check back later those already interested will be PM'ed so they get first dibs. Also as for redistributing the font, it also said for use in commercial products. I just think of it as if anyone jacked my stuff I'd be pissed.
