Hi,
I just want to know if anyone runs a image Hosting website ? If yes what script are you using and is it worth to run a website like this because there is a lot of competition ? Most websites are hosting the image for free and use adsense to get some income. How much do you get for a click on average ?
Many question and hope to get some info :)
Thanks

I use one from http://www.co5.info/.
I don't know if my site does well or not, I've never even checked. I don't know why I made it really, but it's handy for when I need to quickly upload something. :p

Image sites do ok with adsense...I mean you dont make killer money but at least 100 bucks or so a month if you link it to your MSRS site.
At least mine does this...

Any chance of taking a look at mine?200 uniques/day and rising and not a penny so far. When I move servers I will leave it on dreamhost just to annoy them.

MKInfo, I would click X, straight off your site because it requires Registration.
The reason www.imageshack.us and www.tinypic.com are so popular and make so much money is because they have one easy to find, no fiddle around, upload and go.
Why dont you keep that one and make a plain one-page site, just an upload form and COVER it in ads, the rest of the site :P
LOL...Like tinypic and Photobucket have the Photobucket for registration side.
And for the quick easy one-click uploads, that do not require registration they have TinyPic

That's OK, just my advice :)
PGZ, Like I said, still have the reg one you got now, but maybe do an instant one, as I personally wouldn't bother with a REG one at the moment, I have Photobucket Premium...lol
Another awesome idea is
http://reg.imageshack.us/content.php?page=developer
Earn money, off someone elses Server Space. LMAO
