I want to sell my website.
GravityLayouts.com
It just interferes with my personal life too much. I have other plans to do this summer other than updating my website.
I'll probably come around MySpace Pros to sell some new content every now and then in the future.
The site typically makes around 5,000 UV daily & 25,000 hits.
It makes $25/day = $750/month with ValueClickMedia.
Also, I want to sell my MySpace account that goes with it.
It has 75,600 friends. 590,000 profile views.
With the MySpace account, the website makes almost double the stats.
Around 9,300 UV & 50,000 hits.
& with ValueClickMedia that's around $35/day = $1100/month.
+ all the content on the site.
I'm pretty much a noob and just do my own website coding.
Please don't criticize about that. Haha.
Updating the site isn't that hard for me.
The site has been updated everyday since it's been opened. So traffic shouldn't die.
Please no rude comments.
I just need good guidance.
Make an offer if interested.

You may get a good price on Sitepoint. Also post in DP forums (free)
I think the going rate is around 8-10 times the monthly income at the moment.

June 8th, 2008, 05:46 AM
Would you sell the myspace account without the site?

the fair price is 6000-7500 $ for your site
and 8000-9000$ (myspace account )
according to your earning for your site
but since you site depends on the myspace account only,
i think it should be much lower since once your myspace account is deleted , your site is gone as well
( as i see your myspace drives 90% ++ to your site )

It only depends on it for the 9k UV. I was doing fine without the MySpace for a while.

I would say $6000 - $9000 for the site. If your 9k UV a day traffic was from more diverse sources it would add more stability to the traffic and someone might go up to 10k but since without the account your site only hits 5k UV a day most buyers are going to look at that when determining the value

Find places you want to sell at (Sitepoint, DP, MSP, DNScoop) then gather up all the info for your site. At the very least people will want to see screenshots for traffic, earnings, top traffic sources for at least the last 2 months and possibly more considering how much they will be spending. Then go to the forums and create your sales thread, along with the screenshots list things like PR, notable search engine rankings, the script the site runs on, bandwidth used per month, # of graphics/layouts the site offers, any current paid traffic sources, requirements for running the site (mySQL, PHP ect)

lol wtf. Just give him a hug and call it even then, It's not worth 50. The links themselves are worth about 40.00, The site makes 750.00 a month, or maybe you didn't read his original post.

I'm talking to him right now and he need's around $5,000-7,000. He came up with this total by finding out how much he earn's montly, And how many uv he get's daily. if you have anymore question's or buying offer's pm him ;D

i don't think site earned 750.00 a month i maybe wrong but it does not look like it earns that much yet.
if site make 750.00 a month i would not bother selling it unless i can get 2million and up

Ok. You're weird.
People sell sites that make money all the time, I'm sure he would wait til he gets 2million but chances are that day won't come.

If i buy it for that sum he asks for it.. i would have to work twice harder to make double of what he used to earn .
Seriously i am looking around to buy a site that has lots of traffics...

If you want screenshots of my ValueClickMedia account for the past month or two, I will.
I'm not here to rip you off or lie about how much the site makes a month.

I think you should disregard what edy123 is saying. he obviously knows nothing about how this works. he's just looking to get something for nothing. good luck with the sale!
