Duplicating the kinds of tools that DP and SP provide is easy, but we're a community of designers so I'd like to include some cool tools that would make your lives easier.

The first Designer tool I'll be releasing is an auto-tagger. Upload your zip of graphics, upload your tag (gif/png), select a position and go. Depending on the resources this hogs it'll probably be free to members. If the tools start to kill the server I'll have to move them to their own serer and charge a few bucks a month for a subscription to use them, but only if I have to.

I still have about 3 weeks of development before MSRSv2 is released to the public, but I need to get these things on my list and sub out the work I won't have time to do myself. So... What kind of tools would you like to see? What kind of tools/scripts would help you be more efficient, save you time or be of use to you?

Autotagger would be king :D And free, too! You're too generous, lol.

Sorry, have no idea what other tools designers would find useful though, not being a proper one myself.

The auto tagger would be one feature many designers would love!

I can't think of other tools designers would find useful. Hmm I have to get back to you on that one.

What about a layout generator, or am I thinking on the wrong track?
What does DP and SP offer exactly.

A thumbnail generator like the one found here:

http://webthumb.bluga.net/home

That way, we can all have consistant thumbs on our layouts....

@Andrew,
DP offers some keyword tracking (http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/) stuff that I simply can't afford (http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/donate.html) to replicate, and SP offers some random generators here and there but they're pretty lame.

A layout generator would be nice, but there are so many excellent ones already out there. I'll see what I can do though.

@Anne,
I've worked quite a bit with thumbnail creation and that's something I think I can swing. That however will have to work a little differently. I wrote some code that will cache thumbnails from other services in turn reducing the cost a BUNCH. This one would be easy.

Keep the ideas flowing. When you're sitting there irritated thinking "it would be so much better if I could just ___________________________________________", those are the ideas I want.
