MSRSv2 will be out soon and with the launch a new kind of MSP will be born.

The future of MSRS lies in the application we refer to internally as "Resource Script". Because the goal is to enable you to power any kind of resource (i.e. content driven) site and not just myspace resource sites, a broadening in focus is inevitable. The forum will need to reflect this as well. Soon there will be tools, articles and tutorials for designers and beginner-to-intermediate web masters. While I will be actively seeking out professionals in their respective fields, I feel the best contributors are right here in the community.

As a contributor you will have your own author page as well as a mini bio and link back to your site/blog. If you're a designer, write tutorials for Photoshop/PSP and have your freelance prices listed. An expert in SEO? Include a list of accomplishments and your consultation rates.

I want to publish no less than 5 new articles per week from the time we launch, so there is room for many, many people to be part of this. I'll be calling in a lot of favors to promote this, so now could very well be your moment to get noticed.

I'm typing this on my iPhone and it's incredibly frustrating so I'll need to finish this post up tommorow, but please ask your quuestions and I'll try to respond tonight!

Alright, I've made it to a laptop so I'll be able to respond to anyone who has those 1am burning questions lol.

Basically this post is to attract those of you looking to build more of a name for yourself in the industry and/or get some more clients. Similar to how SitePoint has those Mentor badges, contributors will (have the option to) have designations revealing themselves as experts in the field(s) they write articles/tutorials on.

The first example I can think of is Andrew2 and fonts. I know I could find the tools and figure out how to make a font, but hasn't Andrew had his fonts featured on national television? I'd much rather read a (series) of tutorials from someone accomplished. How about a series of tutorials on how to create great looking myspace layouts? Jordan made Brittney Spears, I know a lot of people would love to learn from the guy who was chosen to make celebrity's layout. I know several designers here more than capable of writing great tutorials on design.

This forum focuses on developing sites for social networks. It is my aim to turn this site into a social network for webmasters. I think the people who have put so much into the community should get to be directly involved in its success. I'll be taking the same revenue sharing idea I envisioned for myeeos and applying it in much more dynamic and creative ways with this, and contributors will benefit the most.

If you want to be a contributor post here or PM me. There will be a separate group and forum set up for you so we can discuss who will be writing what articles when as well as an area for group collaboration.

I know the community has been quiet for the last few months, but trust me when I say this is just the calm before the storm.

Post or PM if interested.
