It's quite amusing how you're irritated by something you chose to read. Next time chose the other option and don't read it. Then you can save time by not having to post such a lame reply, which in turn will save me time pointing it out.
In reply to this topic (which has been here over 12 daylight hours, which is a reasonable amount of time so therefore adds further confusion as to why fryman has his knickers in a twist about it), no there is nothing at the moment. Edit: but if I had a preference I'd chose php, I dislike them all being created in flash. I find php/html based is far more customisable to the website and just generally is better. That's how I feel anyway.

Id like to see some more PHP generators that allow more customization my end.
The kind of things are more simple things like, YouTube video resizer, or advanced things like WinAmp player. More tools rather than different text generators.
The other problem I have is the generators are, no offence to the creators very badly design yet they dont allot for me to customise them. It seems they code a very good generator then give it a horrible gradient front end with bad colours etc.
Hope this helps :)

@ Fryman, no offence but he just always seems to have a very serious / upset mood. Ive never seen a post of his where hes cheerful.
@David, Thanks for the understanding, and Ill defiantely note that people dont want flash gens but would prefer php / html.
@Dean, Ill look into making a youtube video resizer and a winamp player, Im assuming you mean one that tells what the person is listening to on winamp? Is that correct?

Erm not exactly, take a look at www.modmyprofile.com they have the two generators I was thinking.
Look at some of the big sites for ideas, just IMO try to avoid the common text generators.
Now that I think of it picture slideshow, cubes etc. etc. are very popular too :)

I want the Profile Visitor Tracker made.

I want the Profile Visitor Tracker made.
I asked someone if they could make one of those, but they said there's a problem. It can only record visitors if they are also registered to the site.
Example.
Layoutsite.com has a visitor tracker.
John signs up to track people that go on his profile.
Michael also joins up to Layoutsite.com to track people that go on his profile.
John surfs onto Michael's profile. Michael can see John has surfed onto it as he is also registered to Layoutsite.com.
Mary surfs onto Michael's profile, but she is not signed up to Layoutsite.com's tracker script. So Michael cannot see and does not know Mary has surfed onto his profile.
If you do manage to get enough people using it to make it work, then MySpace frowns upon trackers (I think chasebadkids could tell you more) and might ban your URL as it invades the privacy.

Good points David, I actually never thought of that. Nix that idea then as a request.

They would be popular but you'll have a ton of people asking you what they need to do because div's aren't as easy as regular layouts.
I'd probably take one though :)

DavidR, thats totally correct, you can do that by creating an image tat logs the users IP and then you havei t compare it to the ips that are registered on your server, witht he information you gave it and thats how it knows whos looking at you.
But Im currently working on one that tracks anyone and everyone, like I used to have, but this time Im going to make it a much safer / secure way for my server that myspace will support and not block (My old methods involved XSS) If I ever finish that though, its really really not going to be cheap.
@Dean Ill look into making those today after school =]

This would probably sound lame, but it would be awesome to find a glitter generator that automatically uploads its generated images to a free image hosting site (e.g. Imageshack).
Of course, I've already seen some sites doing this (such as www.glitteryourway.com , www.glitterkiss.com etc.) but to my knowledge they first had to modify some coding in their generators in order to achieve this prompt.
It would just be great (since it doesn't seem too hard to do) for a glitter gen script for sale that already does this on its own. :)
& Just a friendly & curious question, would it be too hard to do on a script like this: www.cute-spot.com/glittergen ?
I'm really interested on getting that same outcome, only I'm not really an expert with php scripts unlike so many of you here.
Thanks. :)

I bought a script from some guy that did that, and it works. It also saves to your server, but you can just delete them, and it provides them with the code linking to ImageShack.
I'm not sure how they did it, but they did it. PM me love if you wanna see it.

ive seen trackers that dont require you to be a member of the site. as long as you are logged into myspace it will record your friend id + browser info.

Oh right, I was just repeating what a MYSpace coder told me. But still having a tracker like that will get your URL banned from MySpace as MySpace wants to protect their users privacy.

Imageshack provides a very simple XML API that allows you to upload images from your own site and returns the url to your script. I've use this for a couple of my photo gens. Works out very nice.

Imageshack sucks, after a tiny amount of loads you start getting the bandwidth exceeded message

I have that included on my glitter generator although your generator is completely different to mine - you might have to check with the creator of the script whether or not that's possible. If I may ask, where did you buy that gen? I bought the same script as selena.

It was bought off ebay I think.. By the way, may I see the gen you are using? Is it similar to the one used @ www.glitteryourway.com ? :)

^ Yeah it is similar, come online on YIM and I'll give you a peek at it.

I don't like Flash generators. It's just an opinion thing, not functionality.

ill look into making more gens
from modmyprofile
I can def make a div layout gen, but what kinda option would you guys want?
and as far as trackers, like you said, "you can make them without having the other people sign up" but, that has to use XSS, which can also be used for a lot of malicious things on myspace.. thats why those ideas get filtered out so quickly.

What about those Maps that show your location.
Or maybe those live profile viewer counters.
