Backgrounds Needed


I'm looking for 10 backgrounds for a generator project. Nine of the selected winners will receive a $5.00 prize and the grand prize winner will receive $25.00. The total prize money up for grabs is $70.00 in prize money.

You may enter as much as you like, and you are eligible for winning multiple times. That means, one person could walk away with the whole $70.00 if all their graphics are chosen as winning entries.

Please note, only the winning 10 entries will be used, but I encourage all entries to be watermarked to prevent theft.

Rules:





I'm looking for backgrounds sized 300px * 350px
backgrounds can't be too overbearing, since I am going to lay different coloured
text on top.
Entries must be in JPEG format (so this cancels out animated entries).
JPEGs must be saved in the highest quality possible.



Sample:

I put the below graphic together, but don't really like how it came out. Sorta the reason why I'm holding this contest. Note how different coloured text is somewhat visible when overlayed on the background.

EDIT: Just make sure you don't save the background with the sample text over it, because that wouldn't be good.

@daphne don't really have any examples of stuff to show you but here are a few things I look for.

- nice gradients
- rounded corners
- smooth curves
- sunbursts are also nice
- flowery stuff
- hearts

Just want to let everyone know, feel free to to use as much colour as you want. the example i posted looks a bit washed out and I don't want you to follow that style too much.
