Well.. My friend has hostgator but they've been under a 5 day DDOS on a certain server. However, since she's new, they refuse to move her. Her website goes down sometimes and she has trouble accessing FTP and panics a bit.

If you were in her position, would you panic and switch hosts, or would you wait it out?

Site downtime is an estimated 30 minutes a day.

(I told her switching hosts would only cost her more $ since they probably wouldn't move her *** over either if they were under attack)

I guess she should wait it out, the company can't do anything about it, she's just unlucky. Even if she were to switch, it can happen to other hosts too. :S

what package he have ? i do hosting so let me know if she really wants to move.

I'd wait it out if the site is new. If it's an established site and she'd be losing money, traffic ect, then I'd switch ASAP.
