Hey. I see alot of sites out there with really bad organization. When i refer to organization, i am talking in terms of the categorization of things (layouts, contact tables, glitters etc.). Alot of sites i see, you might click on "Myspace Contact Tables", and rather than give the user a selection of categories, it just displays a mixed assortment of contact tables, spread over multiple pages.
Im a bit of an organization freak when it comes to that kinda thing. Im just wanting to know, is it a good thing to have a strong organization structure? Do users generally prefer to have a random selection of items to browse through, or is the preference usually a sorted array of items? Or does it have no effect really at all?
Thanks in advance,
Dan.
