Here is few useful links I need them every day while surfing:
http://en.Wikipedia.org - quick but serious exolanations of practicaly anything. If you stick with something go type a keyword there and read.

http://Onelook.com - explanations of terms, phrases, trade marks, acronyms - the most extensive dictionary on the net. Free, online.

http://Babelfish.altavista.com It can translate a whole web page in few seconds : English, German, Italian, Spanish. Russian, Chinese, Japanese...both ways.

http://dnsstuff.com : IP geolocation, PING, Traceroute all on one site. Excellent web checking tool.


http://Big-boards.com Directory of big forums (with over 500,000 posts).

Yeah, wikipedia has info on everything you'll ever need. If you haven't checked it out, I'd recommend it.

Of those, wikipedia is the only one i use. It is a very good resource. Has info on almost any topic you could possibly think of. Have to be careful sometimes though. Some people will go through and change information just for the sake of it.

But yea, overall, id say its very good. The staff are very quick to fix the information if a member of the public sabotages it.
