I'm pretty sure the copyright question was in response to distributing mp3's of copyrighted materials. What is the RIAA's take on the copyright issues.
Also, did you create this script or just reselling it?

i didn't know there was a 20 second rule for mp3s? can anyone confirm this? this could be a decent script for me to purchase, if the issues mentioned earlier can be fixed and the op could give us more info about the copyright rules. I don't want to go to jail or get sued or anything.

no you won´t get in trouble because a 20sec mp3 is like a prewiew of the real song but always you can offer to the user the upload option that they will upload the ringtones for you ..........
on any ways you make the rules for your site this bussiness is somthing like ares, limewire the owner dont go to jail because the users are that ones who upload the music ..........
NOW working perfect on firefox...........
Totally Safe ...............

Great lets send our users to Jail. Actually, read this article http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/05/23/1434200. "Fair Use" may cover a person making a 30sec clip of their favorite song and using it as a ringtone. But that is completely up to judicial decision. Again, iTunes and others use the "preview" of a song because they are trying to sell the real songs where artist can make money. Distribution of 30 second clips are not "previews" and do not make artist money. Personally, I'd be worried if I ran the script because last I check the music industry doesn't sent C&D's they send $$$$$$ lawsuits.

at this point there's unanswered questions and nothing to back up claims that the script was made by you or even has resell rights. to avoid any of our members being scammed, the thread will be closed.
directly pm me with any questions
