I asked this on another forum to get as much insight on this as possible ..So far it has been 50/50 ..on what the effects are.
So ..I want to ask the MS PROS:
Do any of you use the paid directory submission services in general? I see they can submit to 700 plus directorys over so many days. And even do them by hand..so they say. Anyway ..does it help? ..and does it work ..? I have a new site that I ..may.. try it and keep tabs on how it works. It seems in theory to be a winner. But so was a lot of great misleading ideas. lol

kind of depends on what you want. I did some paid submissions for another site. I get 0 traffic from them, but I noticed a definite increase in the SERPs for the term I submitted. I went from top 200 to top 10 in a month or 2 after submission.
There is a guy on DP that does 100 PR5-7 submissions for $6. You can't bet that.

The problem with submission services is that not ever directory has the same structure and will place your link in the wrong place. I'd grab a copy of roboform and submit to some of the popular ones myself.

A better alterative to RoboForm is InFormEnter (Firefox Extension). Great for directory submissions.

i bet its cheaper getting it done from someone at DP.
you will save a lot of time.
i would also like this answered.
i have a directory that gets multiple submissions everyday.
i hardly approve most of them.
most of them are just MFAs and the works.
i am not sure if its good for the the sites listed i dont make enough to cover the cost of running a directory for sure.

I did some submissons (about 100 or so) definetly got good serp from it, I would only use this tactic if the msrs is brand new and doesn't have a budget.
