Since this keeps coming up, lol.

All you have to do is put it in your public_html directory. The browser will look for it there. No coding necessary :)

Those are good, just remember firefox users are the only ones who will see animated favicons so maybe the first frame should look decent for other web browsers.

yeah andrew thanks i too kinda noticed some stuff like that while playing around with em today in diff browsers too. was my first attempt at animating mini graphics really and didnt know about the first frame grabbing in some browsers. ill make a revision for these and keep that in mind for future ones for sure tho, good lookin out.

also on that note.. do you know code for making the favicon show by browser for diff versions by chance? so say the non animated one shows for browsers other than FF.. or is just making the first frame what you want for the non animated the overall best way?

and in lieu of my recent visit to ripley's..
constructing these tiny graphics makes me feel like the old chinese guy who carved whole books on a grain of rice.. lol
