World of warcraft :D Every 10 level bracket theres a battleground thing. Theres either an arena team,which the best are picked and seperated into 'seasons' like a hockey season.

Theres capture the flag, where everyones gotta run into the enemies base and capture their flag 3 imes..

And theres arathi basin, where you just go around and try to take over and hold as many bases as you can without the enemy wipin you out :x its sorta my job as a healer to keep everyone alive. Theyre kinda bad at keepin me alive tho LOL

Besides, theres different types of jobs for different types of people ;x Depending on what youd rather do. Sneak attack, having smoeone attack for you,magical attacks, etc etc etc, melee, distance, yada yada yada..

Theres druids, who can cast and shapeshift, Cats, bears etc.. For attack / defense dependin on what kinda druid you go. Warriors, who are straight up attack. Priests, holy and shadow. Shadow priest is attack, holy is healin. Im holy >.>

Rogues, they turn invisible and critical alot. Warlocks who usually have summons to distract one opponent while taking on another and can cast DOT (Damager over time) spells.

Hunters who.. Send their pets after people, and stay outta range usually wearing a bow or a rifle :x its more than gear that matters on this game tho, which is why I like it. You gotta be real skilled, and learn your job real well in order to be a good player

Oh.. Yeah.. Paladins too :/ They make really REALLY good healers, coz they have a spell that makes them invincible for 5 seconds -_- 5 secs is alot of time, coz people die in seconds, literally lmao

Anyway Briana if you played horde youd lose a load too. Lots of allis make 29 twinks coz they cant cut it on the battlegrounds at higher lvls. Lvl 29 horde players, ALOT of them ARENT twinks: / I just twinked coz of this 29 paladin who kept owning everyone lmfao... Yeah, now we actually stand a chance w00t w00t.

but i started playing d&d in the early 80s.. so i know everything rpg and now mmrpg i think thats been out since the 70s (been killin orcs and juggling paladins, rogues, etc for longer than most wow players have been alive heh)

and i played EQ for 4 years and was the guildleader of a huge guild (300+ members) on the oldest server for 3 of those. Overlords of Darkness on Karana hehe
i two-boxed for ages.. and twinked out a lot of people inc myself.
and thats half of what sucks about mmrpgs for me now days..

no respect for the games.. just a level grind.. buncha 13 year olds with twinks runnin around owning noobs lol

"i killed rats for 3 days and am lvl 28629862 it was awesome i had a 2k armor class and a sword that killed with 1 hit. i barely had to rest. i level grinded in 1 place so easy that...i dont know the maps.. or really any of the storyline to the game much less the intricate quests..etc" hehe

Alliance is like playing WoW on easy mode. If I wanted easy, Id have gone them. They dont have any quests running even CLOSE to our towns at all, when we're forced to practically run through theirs on a weekly basis. Regular players can kill me. Its not hard. I've got 1k defense WITH my buff. Im ONLY twinked for healing gear. good healz! Most priests are, otherwise they're useless, since you can bet your *** 70% of the other team is twinked as well. People who complain about twinks just aren't skilled enough to get the gear themselves, which isn't that hard. I got all of my gear alone, sometimes in group quests, 100% legit.

UO is older than EQ and EQ is crap. Garbage that tried to obtain what WoW has, but sadly, as a hardcore gamer, I can say this for sure. NOTHING comes close to WoW.

I remember playing D&D on my old texas instruments computer running on DOS. Those were the dayz

uo isnt even in same ballpark as EQ. and up until the wow explosion EQ ruled the mmorpg realm. (to me it still does because i dont like the cutesy wow graphics) i dont think they tried to have what wow has. wow took what they were doing and added things.. sony didnt keep up after they got EQ from Verant.. or they would still be on top. they still have a huge memberbase..not EQ2..which even ruined it further for sony. but the original EQ.. and still releasing expansions.. 13 expansions.. more content than wow i think. people who say EQ is crap surely have never been on a plane raid or saw past lvl 20 and have only played wow hehe
when wow came out like i said i was lvl 65 shadowknight on EQ pushin a full guild into the planes and killing gods.. i was on the wow beta and logged in and wasnt impressed.. but then i was killing rats again with a lvl 5 gimp toon.. back to what i was saying about people who think EQ sucks hehe applies for me too on wow i guess.
i played a bit in the early wow stage.. im sure its grown immensely since then.. but from your last description it still sounds the same hehe

i dunno about the whole complaining about twinks because of skill thing i would agree on tho lol
there is no skill involved in recieving items you didnt earn at levels you could not normally obtain them from people who are already hooked up and sling you handmedowns.
and once you are twinked its not a major accomplishment to kill things you shouldnt be able to kill at your normal level. so leveling itself isnt even a major accomplishment.
not to say it isnt or cant be fun tho hehe

but like you said.. the other team you can bet your *** is twinked.
confirming that that is what is wrong with these games :)
if they werent twinked.. you would have no reason to.. everyone would do their quests..learn the game..learn their skills, spells, and then the true gamers will shine. things would be earned and a little respect back in the game.

twinking is equivalent to making glitters with a cracked version of psp lol

its not everyone.. and of course hooking up your friends/guild members with stuff shouldnt be bad.. but it is out of hand. a game only has a good shelf life for me for around 6 months or until levels are maxed..ready for expansion..everyone and their mother twinked. when it is server wide it just takes away the whole fantasy element for me.

and being wow is i guess the best mmorpg atm it wont be shy of any players.. but i dont like servers when they get too crowded..

and PVP servers are the way to go for hardcore gamers hehe

yeah i got the paper and pencil d&d box set with caves of chaos i think in 79.. and by the time it came out on the tx instruments.. i was so excited.. and then i thought it sucked too (compared to the real game) hehe
then the first d&d came out on colecovision and hand eye coordination was needed woot :)

Can tell you've never played WoW though zodiac, it shows with every sentence you post. First of all, handmedowns, uh NO. The only GOOD items worth equipping are bind on PICK UP. So you even GRAB it off of a body, it binds to you. It prevents goldsellers from makin $ on the auctionhouse.

Like I said before, I earned everything I own. People who can't make their characters the absolute best for their level range just aren't good gamers. Because thats the entire point of gaming. Being the best. Having fun. Improve improve improve.

basically if the game doesnt require enough attention or skills that you can two-box (follow yourself around and spam heals and buffs from your 2nd pc) then anyone can be twinked. <target/spam heal/target/spam heal> there are people i have seen 6 box on wow.. and eq..and everything else. (except good first person shooters and actual skill and strategy games)

zodiac,... Each spell has a cooldown and if you looked at the screenshot, you'd see all my spells are macroed. Its just that theres a class - rogue that can use this move , backstab which depending on the rogues talents and gear, can take up to 700 HP a hit. Then he can poison them so they cant get away, and hunters have a move that can make a healers heals do HALF the heals they normally would.

Hunters only have aimshot, which halves healing, and thats only this patch. Priests can debuff, but the only buff they get is a lifebuff to increase someones max HP for 30 mins. :/ I explain things over and over and you just don't seem to understand..

i am honor 38-39 i think. i just started playing maybe a few months ago. yeah i was surprised that i had never heard of aa up until a few months ago. apparently its been around for years. i think it holds its own against all of the other FPS games especially with the free factor. and it just has a pretty good air of realism is what i like the most. its not that feeling of "run around and jump and shoot my BFG and get shot and pump a few medpacks and keep running" it makes it a little bit more realistic. and the no instant respawn.. makes ya think twice about running out into the field like rambo lol

yeah i hear ya i guess. i do have starcraft..and broodwars.. and other expansions.. and warcraft 1 and 2.. and c&c.. and all the other 199x games :) havent played those for maybe 10 years my discs are probably data-rotted lol
starcraft was cool tho.
i think aoe3 has come a long way for rts.
i dont have as much time as i used to tho and dont rts as much as i used to. same with mmorpgs.. hard to get that many hours straight to play.
i have been mostly fps for the last year as it allows me to get in, get my kill fix, and get out.
