Ive seen others using those huge intrusive banners, Im assuming only a matter of time before myspace does something (or maybe not).

I've used that trick from time to time but I never got much of a response. My image was a very very tiny textual banner, a tad shorter than these emoticons.

That is exactly the problem, if people are stupid enough to use that kind of images then they WILL do something.

Heck, if I was in charge of the place and saw that kind of crap I would sure be doing something.

The best (or worst) thing I've seen posted using that trick was what appeared to be a video player (it was just a jpeg), damn it looked good though, got the attention real good, and it didn't look too out of place.
