View Full Version : Do I take myspace too seriously?

I met this guy right before graduation. We were talking about business and what not. Later we and a bunch of friends went out to a club. After that we continue to do business, then I send him a friend request on MySpace and he rejected me. <_< I got somewhat offended so I just canceled all business plans. I know business and friendships don't go well together all the time, but damn we partied together so I thought we were friends.

Then right before I moved I saw my ex girlfriend. I thought I would never find her, so it was cool to say goodbye even if it hurt. She was also like "I thought I wasn't going to find you =( let's take a picture together". I thought we ended in good terms. Then I leave her a comment on MySpace and she never replied, yet she replied to other people's comments. This happened about a week ago, months after we said goodbye.

Either people are hypocrites, or I take MySpace too seriously. Anyone else have similar situations or am I the only crazy one?:ninja:

.... Sergio .... mate you are taking Myspace way too seriously.

The first could have been mistaken idenity or one of 10 other reasons I can think of straight away.

The second .... again there are lots of reasons why she didn't reply to your comment, none of them personal, she might be like me, I put the important ones aside to give a more personal reply then either forget about it or leave it so long that relevance is lost. Then I feel p1ssed because I should have replied straight away.

You're right, I do take it too seriously. There's basically no reason why she would hate me. If she does then I'll just forget about it, it's not like I see her all the time to remind me (actually I'll probably never see her again).

Maybe I take Myspace seriously too because I would have done the EXACT same things. I can't stand shady people who puts one on the back burner.

As far as the girl, forget her.

<removes sergio from friends list for writing emo songs>
hehe just kidding
i think you are taking it too personal
from the first guy because you were talking business and then decided to be friends and then you let the friendship interfere with business. and also that you said you dont know him for that long of time but had already got his business.
and from the ex.. if she doesnt want to see ya or talk or whatever.. (and who really wants an EX on their myspace page for potential blockage hehe) then thats just her right.. and snooping around seeing who and when she replies to everyone else is just borderline stalking :P i would move on hehe

friends and business rarely mix and you should always prepare accordingly.

(or make a new rule. you can only be my friend if you sign up on my myspace page.) lol
my couch is always open for "am i crazy" requests :arabia:
