I'm sure all people agree that (animated) images eat bandwidth. Especially all animated images like glitters, animated layouts, ...

I have created an online tool which will compress images.
You can use it unlimited, for free, in exchange for a link to my site.
You link to my site and I give you unlimited access.

Less bandwidth = less cost
Faster site = more pageviews = more $$
Faster loading of images = happy visitor

Example:
A glitter image of 65kb will be compressed to 40kb without quality loss.
For big glitters or animated layouts, it compresses from 400kb to 220kb, no quality loss.

Before:

160kb

After:

http://www.pazoen.com/optimize/done/Dm5i2mN11Z3Oed5TLpkps44cVm4i51A06pyK.gif
39kb

This tool is perfect for designers or myspace resource owners. The images you upload will not be used by our site. We empty the upload folder automatically every hour.

The only thing we want in exchange for this service is a link back to our site www.pazoen.com

Want to try or sign up? http://www.pazoen.com/optimize/

yes, it took me a while to make it and it's really efficient to compress images.
as long as you provide a link to my site i'll let you use my tool.

i'm working on something so people can upload a zip file with images, then it will compress all images in the zip file and you'll be able to download all compressed images.

Interesting. Mostly because it would be nice to have a fast easy way to optimize images. What would be really cool is if you could make it somehow spider a persons site and optimize all the images and then offer a download link that keeps the directory structure complete so the person could then just upload all the optimized images over the old ones. Then you could maybe offer a basic statement of the total size difference with basic stats on how much bandwidth it will save them. Maybe charge a small onetime fee per site to do it or something. Not sure how hard something like that would be but could be really helpful for a lot of site owners who don't have time to open up and optimize every image they put on their sites ;).

How well does the compression deal with small text such as URL tags?
