mesaging someone with an "away" message

here's a way around it, if you REALLY want to message that person.

make sure you're logged on to myspace. put this in your url (with the http together)

h t t p://messaging.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=mail.reply&friendId=putfriendidhere <--- the person you want to message.

hit enter.

should present you with an option to compose a new message and verify the captcha, then you're set.

i just did this with a new person im totally in love with (a famous person), and im so not his age. lol. (bad i know)
and i dont ever get star struck.

thanks for this. I've been trying to figure out how to get past the stupid away messages. I dont think that some people realize that you can't message them when you put one up.

hum. not sure. i know i put mine up to keep spammers away. but they still spam via group invites and comments.

but its still fun to message someone that has an away message, they're like wtf. lol
