I heard it works well, and has CMS. and I heard it was a fair price..... I just need a script that isnt too pricey with a good CMS.

Here a thread with a list of many of the known scripts and some opinions on some of them. Ignore the off topic banter in the thread lol:

just make your own site, dont run off something every one else has...It is very very convenient, and cheaper, to get started with a premade script that has default content ;). Beside, even that really crappy free turnkey can make money if you get traffic to it ;)

What fryman said... If you do buy that please edit it more than adding your own name to the top. I am sick of seeing those sky blue sites with big yellow smilie faces all looking exactly the same. It makes me wish everyone had MSRS, at least it doesn't have that stupid yellow grinning face.

Yeah I actually hate that yellow one too. Although it kind of has a CMS and looks halfway decent, it's just annoying. Always seems to load slow too whenever I see it. I personally think the "advanced myspace script" (aka rapid codes clone) is a good one to start with since it is much easier to modify and make it more unique.

All just depends on how much you want to invest at first when getting in. I jumped right in an MSRS was my first myspace site. I've played with a few others since but glad I started with Gregs if for nothing else, this forum and all the cool people here. But I have also learned a lot messing around with MSRS which will help me with other stuff as well.

if you choose to use that script, ensure you disable the user's ability to upload their own graphics.

The uploader portion of that script is not secure and a .php file renamed as a .jpg can be uploaded and called from remote.

i would happily just take the CMS and edit it for my own site. i could care less about the template or the premade content
i have been searching for a decent CMS for ages, one that i could easily integrate into my OWN site, and not integrate into a script.
but no luck :(

but seriously, don't take that one, unless you want it for the same reason i want a script with a cms, which is simply for the cms...
