PoorAffiliate.com - A new way of Myspace Monetization.

Social Networking Webmasters

Adsense got you down? Did they kick you out for no reason…tick you off for a few days, then tell you your back in the program while forfeiting your previously earned profits?

Can’t get into Valueclick? Or any of those other CPM Programs that are impossible to get into?

Failing to monetize on your site the way that you want?

Bokay, enough is enough, you get the point. In a nutshell, to continue to get you to the baller status that you want I’ve been testing out a new program called PoorAffiliate. They have built a simple script that you add to your resource sites. Basically when a users go to grab a code from your site to paste onto their profile, they have to fill out an incentivized offer first before they get that privilege. If they don’t then the code is locked, until they click on the offer to fill out. All of these offers are randomly generated by the PoorAffiliate script. A lot of other webmasters on myspacepros have also said they’ve had excellent success from this script. Many saying that it pays more than Adsense, which is very true. So I leave you with this the link to PoorAffiliate’s signup page.

Get da money! :)

Happy Holidays from MyspacePros Blogger - Misterproline

Happy Holidays to all of you!

It has been quite a good run for all of us in 2007, let’s take it to the next level in 2008!

Few things to look out for in 2008.

- Myspace Applications

- Yahoo Mash leaving Beta and going public.

- Another Social Networking site getting big. (could be mash)

- Websites continuing to sell links to go down in page rank and seo position.

Signing off,

Yahoo does the Monster Mash.

If you have not heard Yahoo! has released a beta version of their new social network, Mash. This answers the question to my previous entry as to if Yahoo! would purchase Myspace. Newsflash! They aren’t interested. Mash has been in beta for only a few days and has already had decent reviews from Myspace Webmasters and Mash Users.

What will this mean for Myspace Webmasters?
1. Myspace Webmasters have a great advantage and step ahead in the content relations game.
2. More revenue.
3. YPN needs to could change it’s entire outlook on Mash Resource Sites.

So will Mash be successful? I believe it comes down to how well their marketing campaign is executed and how much support they get from the content webmasters mainly in the MyspacePros.com Community. The users will flourish if those two aspects are taken care of. Let’s do our part and get it on in a flash!

News Corp to trade Myspace for Yahoo?

That’s right - it has been proposed that News Corp owner Rupert Murdoch who owns Myspace has declared a grand offer to Yahoo. It has been reported that Murdoch has offered Yahoo FULL ownership of Myspace for a 25% stake in Yahoo.

Honestly if I were Yahoo it is rather risky to say the least. However Yahoo can manage Myspace a lot better than it has been in the last few years since News Corp’s purchase. The aquiring of Myspace would also help Yahoo rebound a bit against Google. In the past year Google has acquired Youtube - the highly popular video sharing site.

Will Myspace have a new owner again in such short time? Will this affect Myspace Webmasters in anyway? Sign on the dotted line Yahoo and we will see!

To be continued…

Myspace Official Profile Editor

I’m sure you all have heard about the Myspace Official Profile Editor.

Should you be worried?

My answer is NO. Your answer should be NO.

Reason? Think about all of the licensing and copyright infringes Myspace would be colliding with.

Us little guys aren’t worth going after, so we win.

Logos - comments - glitters - layouts

Myspace is all about customization and they can’t keep up with themselves.

Take a look at the unique example profile that Tom gives.

G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S just like Fergie says right?

Ha sike! It’s a JOKE.

Need not worry Myspace webmasters. WE ARE IN CONTROL!

Myspace Launches China Service

Today March 28th Myspace Launches a China Service.

Myspace China - which will actually be owned by the chinese alongside everything else in their country.

However Myspace will back them with any help they may need.

What does this mean for resource owners?

-Possible inflation of traffic? Most likely yes, we all know China is the most populated country in the world.

-Higher Adsense revenue? This is a great possibility - Adsense accepts world-wide traffic.

-Will this affect YPN publishers in anyway? As of right now no - be sure you have your geoscripts on!

We all must remember the Chinese Myspace user will be limited to what they can do and post on myspace China.

“The communist government promotes Internet use for education and business but tries to block material considered subversive or pornographic. Dozens of people have been jailed for posting political essays online. ”

Honestly this will be great for resource owners - however it is an easy accessible punishment for somebody who abuses Myspace China which will seem way too easy.

The Myspace Numbers Game

Welcome to the Myspace Webmaster Forum blog and my inaugural entry!

I logged into Myspace early this morning and couldn’t help but notice the steadily increasing number of friends Tom’s profile contains. (161,923,783 friends) This doesn’t even pertain to the total registered members but is decently accurate.

161 Million! Try refreshing the page the number is always different. Okay, I don’t sit here all day refreshing the page to watch the numbers go up and down but the point is these people aren’t all real. I hope you have already concluded to that.

A huge gigantic reason why the boom of registrations are spammers! Woo hoo! Ever heard that word before? Bots that are automated to automatically register a new profile have been created by programmers to help the ease of your precious fingers.

Recently a notable Myspace account creator called Space Promoter had been halted by Myspace themselves. Space Promoter’s duty was exactly as I mentioned above and it worked rather well creating and verifying a Myspace Account within seconds. This is easily a big player in the registered user increase. As I said the owner of Space Promoter was contacted and replied in many forums with this response.

“Basically, I can’t update or sell the program because MySpace is trying to sue me.”

“They want to settle out of court with the following demands:

- I give them spacepromoter.com
- I can’t update or support the program.
- I can’t ever talk about MySpace marketing or anything against their TOS again.
- They wanted 100% of the profits that I made but I’ve gotten them down to 50%.
- I can’t ever use MySpace or another Fox News website again.
- They want my customer list.”

Sure having this software had it’s $hort term advantages to spammers, however Myspace requesting the customer list could even tie you onto a watch list or even worse!

There is a high number of registered users but as Myspace advances in security and safety, I feel there will be more room and less distraction to do this social networking thing.
